An Early 19th Century Bilston Enamel Box.
The hinged lid, with a domed profile, decorated to the centre with a classical vase, draped with laurel leaves, within an oval border. The surrounding with a the motto ' A small token of friendship'. The edgew with trailing flowers, enclosed within brass reeded rim edge, with finger grip front. The lid opening to a mirror and the enamel interior. The body with corresponding reeded rim edge, and blue enamel outside and underside.
In remarkable condition.
