An early 19th century Country House Meat Cleaver, Chopper.

The  large scimitar shaped steel cutter, with a walnut handle, turned and tapering to a brass ring finial to  the  end, the other end connecting to the blade with a ring decorated ferrel.

Circa 1820

Length 21 inches, width 6 inches, depth 1 1/2 inches.
