An Early 19th Century Mahogany Boot Pull. The boot bull with ringed and shaped rounded handles, between gentle lyre uprights, with a concave shaping to the outer facings. The uprights holding a hinged pulling board following the shape of the lyre. The uprights flowing to scrolled toes, between which rests the shaped foot board. The pulling board decorated with an amusing needlework panel of a cobbler carrying boots on two poles. Height 34 1/2 inches, 88cm. Width 15 inches, 38cm. Depth 18 inches, 46cm. Date circa 1820.
