A George III Carved Alabaster Group of a Hound and Hare.

The dog wearing a broad collar, lying down, as he holds a hare in his mouth.  The two animals on a naturalistic base carved with flowers and grass.  The whole sitting on a black marble plinth.

Date c 1790.

Height 3 inches, width 8 inches, depth 3 1/2 inches.
