A George III Mahogany Candle Stand. The stand with a circular top, edged with a rounded raised moulding. The top rising and falling with an adjustable column and screw handle. The adjustable column fitting within the ringed and rounded stem, finished with a waisted and concave socle, resting on the circular base, with concave and rounded banding, finished with a mould edge. Date circa 1780. Height 8 1/4 inches, 21cm. Diameter 6 inches, 15cm.Ref: 23421
