A Late 17th Century Carved Oak and Gesso Figure of St Anthony.
The Saint dressed with high collar habit and rope sash, standing and holding a bible and young child/cherub, complete with his traditional sack of loaves of bread slung across his shoulder.
His sandled feet on an octagonal plinth.

A very atmospheric piece, with tremendous patination and colouring.
