MID 19TH C TORTOISE SHELL BOX

A mid-19th Century tortoise shell box, the slightly-domed top opening to bone/ivory facings and a silk-lined base. The body shaped and gently curving downward and inward to four small bun feet.

Complete with lock and silver escutcheon plate.
