A Pair of 18th Century Flintlock Pistols.

Each with a screw off barrel, joining the brass mechanism, engraved with colours and reserves, containing the makers name, J N Jones and LONDON, for John Jones, Cornhill, London.  The undersides of the mechanism with proof marks, the trigger guard with radiating star burst motif, and the whole with mahogany grips.

Date c 1780.
