A Pair of 19th Century Marble Vases, mounted with ormolu and brass. The pineapple finials above circular fluted and gadrooned tops, with a waisted socle decorated with fluted panels. The bodies of classical vase shape, decorated with floral swags hanging from pairs of vine leaf handles. The vases held within palm leaf cups, above floral decorated collars, and a spreading out swept fluted base, gathered by a laurel leaf band. The whole resting on plinth bases with concave corners. The undersides with brass plates. Height 15 1/2 inches, width 6 inches, depth 4 inches. Date c 1850.Ref:
