PAIR OF 19TH C PAPIER MACHE COASTERS

A Pair of 19th Century Papier Mache Bottle or Decanter Coasters. Each with a rounded rim, over the body with a rounded profile banding. The coasters finished with a rounded foot rim, and the undersides with baize covering. The whole with gilt decoration to the rims, and centre banding. Date circa 1840. Height 2 inches, 5cm. Diameter 5 1/2 inches, 14cm.
