A Pair of Early 19th Century Pistols. Each with an octagonal barrel, with sighting brackets. The mechanism with engraved foliate decoration repeated to the trigger guard. The walnut stocks carved with spreading leaves to the barrel end, the handle with fine chequered hatching, and the butt finished with a radiating star engraved, domed, butt plate. Date c 1830 Height 6 1/2 inches, width 15 1/2 inches, depth 1 1/2 inches.
