A Pair of Late 18th/Early 19th Century Marble and Ormolu Mounted Vases. Each with a lift off finial cover with a flower bud and leaves, before a concave fluted banding and rounded rim. The finials fitting within a gadrooned rim, the concave necks spreading to a beaded shoulder. The classical shaped vases with swagged drapery hanging between rams head masks. The vases held within rising leaf cups, over falling leaves spreading to a laurel leaf foot, raised on re entrant cornered plinth bases. Date circa 1800. Height 8 3/4 inches, 22cm.
