A Pair of Early 19th Century Marble Caryatid Herms. Each one carved with the head of a classical maiden, her hair gathered in a scarf, with ringlets appearing below the scarf. She looks forward, and rests on a channel mould scrolled bracket. Date c 1820. Height 8 1/2 inches, width 3 inches, depth 2 inches.Ref:
