A Pair of Marble Vases. The mid 19th Century Vases with flower bud finials, spreading toward leaf decorated surrounds, covering the domed tops. The waisted collars decorated with bands of Vitruvian scrolls, and egg and dart motifs, surrounding an oval pierced band. The classical bodies tapering to socles with hanging leaves, and rising leaf cups. The bases spreading outward to acorn and oak leaf collars, and thence the square plinths. The floral swagged bodies mounted with pairs of cherubs, each holding the floral swags. The cherubs tapering into folding leaves. Height 19 inches, width 8 1/2 inches, depth 7 inches.
