A Terracotta Patinated Group of a Lioness and her Cubs.

The lioness lying down with her three cubs suckling, being licked, and the third climbing over her back.  The group depicted on a naturalistic base which is signed ANT. AMORGASTI and also with an impressed number.  Antonio Amorgasti was an Italian sculptor who worked also at Antwerp Zoo.

Date c 1910.
