An 18th Century Silver Toddy Ladle. The ladle with a long handle, the end rounded, and thence tapering with two ring turned bands to the silver ladle. The long shank with ringed collars, continuing with a 'C' scroll wrist, to the bowl. The scallop rimmed bowl with a broad spout, surrounding the bowl decorated with chased flowers and foliage within the shaping which follows the scalloping. The centre with a plain scrolled reserve. Hallmarked for London 1749. Height 2 1/4 inches, width 14 1/2 inches, depth 3 1/2 inches.
