A 19th Century Silver Hip Flask.

The flask with a spherical lid, hinged and with a twist catch closing mechanism, above a raised collar, joining the rounded oval body.  The body of slightly curved profile to fit snuggly in ones pocket.  A nifty size and shape.

Hallmarked for Colen Hewer Cheshire of Northampton Street, Birmingham, Birmingham 1896.

Height 4 1/4 inches, width 3 1/2 inches, depth 1 inch.
