19TH C SILVER PLATED BISCUIT BARREL

A 19th Century Silver Plated Biscuit Barrel. With a hinged top opening with a bow shaped thumb grip. The top fitting over the raised and reeded collar of the cylindrical body, finished with a reeded foot rim, as per the collar. The underside marked for Walker & Hall, Sheffield. Date circa 1880. Height 5 inches, 13cm. Diameter 5 1/4 inches, 13.25cm. Depth 4 3/4 inches, 12cm.
