A Silver Wine Funnel. The wine funnel with a reeded rim, over the deep bowl, tapering to a ringed collar, and tapering stem, with reeds (for venting in the decanter neck). The stem finished with an offset spout. The centre bowl with a reeded rim, and petal pattern pierced sieve bottom. Complete with decanter bracket and the reeded muslim ring. Hallmarked for Peter Bateman and Anne Bateman, London 1801. Height 5 1/4 inches, 13.5cm. Width 3 1/4 inches, 8cm. Depth 3 1/4 inches, 8cm.
