An Edward VIII silver bonbon dish, the ornately pierced body with solid vacant cartouche-like panels (which could be monogrammed), on a spreading and shaped foot.  The dish hallmarked, Sheffield 1936, by E Viner (Viners Ltd).  Lovely present!
