A pair of 19th C silver candlesticks, the nicely detailed candlesticks with baluster and sided stems, each corner decorated with acanthus leaf and harebell decoration with flower head and foliate decoration in between, the candle holders with further acanthus leaf scrolls and flower heads, each with lift out sconces with armorial and hallmarks, the square shaped bases with scalloped sides and each decorated in either foliate relief or a scrolled cartouche with rubbed monograms, the corners decorated with acanthus leaf and harebell decoration, and each candlestick with hallmarks for Sheffield 1842, maker'sm marks for Creswick & Co (Thomas, James & Nathaniel Creswick).

Lovely, crisp decoration and in great condition.
