A  Large and Extensive Boxed Silver Cruet Set.  The ten pieces comprising:

Four peppers, each of balustered shape, with small finiales and cabriole feet; Four salts, of rectangular baluster shape with scallop edge, cabriole legs and pad feet, complete with blue glass liners and spoons (one replaced); Two mustards, of rectangular baluster shape,w ith scallops rims, small cabriole legs and pad feet, the lids hinging open and complete with blue glass liners and spoons.

The original box, lined in blue velvet and silk.

Hallmarked for ES BARNSLEY & CO (Edward Souter, Barnsley)  Birmingham 1921.
