A Silver Plated Soup Tureen of Classical Vase Shape. The cover with a reeded domed centre and entwined vine stalk handle, over the body, with likewise reeded decoration, resting on an oval socle with reeded edge. The body mounted with a pair of reeded and vine leaf decorated handle. The underside impressed for 'Wilson & Sharp, Edinburgh'. Wilson & Sharp were upmarket silversmiths at 139 Princess Street, Edinburgh in the late 19th century. Date c 1890. Height 9 inches, width 13 1/2 inches, depth 7 1/2 inches.Ref:
