An Early 19th Century Silver Wine Funnel. The funnel with a lift out bowl. The rim of the bowl with a reeded rim and a thumb grip, the bowl tapering into a pierced sieve centre, surrounded by a small collar. The main body of the bowl of rounded funnel shape, the rim with reeding, as per the lift out bowl. The bowl tapering to a long tapering spout, with raised reeds to allow air to escape the decanter when filling. The spout finished with an off set beak end. Hallmarked for London 1807. Height 5 1/2 inches, 14cm. Width 4 1/4 inches, 11cm. Depth 3 1/4 inches, 8cm.
