A Sterling Silver Canteen of Cutlery for Eight People. The cutlery is of the classic Kings Pattern with solid silver forks and spoons and weighted silver knives. The cutlery is all hallmarked for Sheffield 1956 and 1955. The silver maker of the Canteen is Harrison Brothers & Howson - George Howson who also made the knife blades and were cutlers to his late Majesty King George IV. Each piece is in very good condition and the set is complete in its own original velvet lined case. The canteen comprises of the following: 8 x Table Knives 8 x Table Forks 4 x Serving Spoons 8 X Soup Spoons 8 x Fish Knives 8 x Fish Forks 8 x Dessert Spoons 8 x Dessert Forks 8 x Tea Spoons 3 Piece Carving Set The total weight of the cutlery, excluding the weighted knives and carving set, is almost 4kg.
