A 19th Century Lignum Vitae String Box, with a screw off lid. The lid with an acorn finial string hold, above the domed and ringed cover, sweeping down to a rounded rim. The cylindrical body resting on a ringed and concave mould plinth base. Date c 1850. Height 6 1/2 inches, width 5 1/2 inches, depth 5 1/2 inches.Ref:
