A 19th Century Mahogany Ballot Box, Voting Box. The ballot box with raised panel sides, surrounding the front with a large concave shaped circular hand hole, fronting the baize lined interior funnel. The funnel falling into the frieze drawer, mounted with a wood knob, into which the white and black balls fall. The rear with an opposing circular moulding. The whole finished with a concave and round foot moulding. Complete with white and black balls. Date circa 1860. Height 13 inches, 33cm. Width 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Depth 12 inches, 31cm.Ref: 21867
