A 19th century Oak Games Compendium. The hinged lid holding a Morocco Leather games board, with chess/draughts to one side, and backgammon to the other side. The body with an opening front, the hinged wings holding a boxwood and ebony chess set. The interior holding two lift out trays. The first containing a mahogany and coromandel cribbage board inlaid with scoring panels, a set of bone dominoes, a set of boxwood and ebony draughts, and four scoring pegs. The lower tray with four divisions for cards. The bottom compartment holding a pair of turned boxwood dice beakers, and six bone dice. The facing foot of the box with a brass plaque, "The Royal Cabinet of Games". With all dominoes, draughts and chess pieces complete. With lock and key.
