A Good Quality !9th Century Box. The really well made 19th century box, of rectangular shape, mounted with inlaid scrolled corners, and strap work edges, the slightly domed lid lifting with a flush handle, the front with an escutcheon plate, fronting the original lock and key. The interior with the original card lining. Date circa 1850. Height 2 3/4 inches, 7cm. Width 9 1/4 inches, 24cm. Depth 4 inches, 10cm.Ref: 22207
