19TH C TOLE SPICE BOX

A 19th Century Tole Spice Box. The spice box decorated in a red ground, the lid decorated with a broad band of wild flowers, amongst which butterflies flit. The lid with a gilt brass swan neck handle. The interior with two spice divisions, and a lift out lidded caddy. Date circa 1820. Height 5 1/4 inches, 14cm. Width 9 1/2 inches, 24cm. Depth 7 inches, 18cm.
