An 18th Century Mahogany Apothecary Box. The box with a hinged lid mounted with a flush brass handle. The lid opening to a velvet lined interior, containing a variety of bottles for potions and medicines. The lower body with a drawer, mounted with a flush handle, opening to a selection of bottles and mixing jars. The whole finished with a small foot mould. Complete with original key. Date circa 1780.
