REGENCY PENWORK BOX

A Regency penwork decorated box, the sloped edge lid decorated with a scene of a Chinese lady in a garden with a bird roosting in the trees. The scene bordered by bands of leaf decoration continued to the body of the box, which is decorated with flower heads and scrolling leaves. The box standing on four small ball feet.

H 3 inches; w 6 1/2 inches; d 4 1/2 inches.
