A Set of Late 18th Century Fire Tools. Each with a brass leaf topped finial, over the grips in tow tapering sections, the decoration of panels filled with radiating leaves. the handles meeting rounded and concave socles, flowing into long shanks, finished with a pear shaped raised side shovel, with a leaf motif centre, a pair of tongs and a poker. Date circa 1780. Height 31 1/2 inches, 80cm. Width 5 1/2 inches, 14cm. Depth 2 inches, 5cm.Ref: 24190
