A 19th C Brass Door Porter, Door Stop, in the form of Swan.

Her neck arching over to form the handle, her wings raised as she sits on her leafy nest.  The whole on a rounded naturalistic base.  The rear with cast iron loading conforming to the shape of the swans nest.

Date c 1850.

Height 15 1/2 inches, width 7 inches, depth 2 1/2 inches.
