A 19th Century Bronze Dog.

The hound with an exuberant coat, sitting on his haunches, his tail curled to his front, his head turned slightly left, his lower jaw hinged and spring loaded to hold cards or papers.  the whole mounted on a rectangular marble base with rounded edges.

Date c 1850.

Height 5 1/2 inches, width 6 1/2 inches, depth 3 1/2 inches.
