19TH C BRONZE FIGURE OF DIANA DE GABIES

A 19th Century Bronze Figure of The Diana de Gabies. The bronze depicting Diana as she adjusts her dress. She stands in sandals, on a square plinth base. The base with foundry mark for the founders 'COLLAS BREVETE'. After the original marble figure excavated in Rome 1792, and now on display in Le Louvre. Date circa 1850. Height 13 1/4 inches, 34cm. Width 4 inches, 10cm. Depth 3 1/2 inches, 9cm.
