19TH C BRONZE OF A GREYHOUND

A Mid 19th Century Bronze Greyhound. The elegant dog sitting resting on his haunches. His tail curling under his leg, as he raises his right paw and looks over his left quarter. The whole resting on a rectangular marble plinth. Beautifully drawn and cast and with good patination. Date circa 1840. Height 10 inches, 25cm. Width 8 1/4 inches, 21cm. Depth 4 1/2 inches, 11cm.
