A 19th Century Bronze of Napoleon. The brooding Emperor wearing a tricorn hat, and open long coat, revealing his tunic, epaulettes and medal, as he stands looking forward, in high boots. He holds telescope behind his back. The naturalistic base signed 'Pradier'. The whole raised up on a three stepped sienna marble plinth. Height 14 1/2 inches, 37cm. Width 4 1/2 inches, 12cm. Depth 4 1/2 inches, 12cm. Date circa 1850.Ref: 22124
