19TH C BRONZE OF VENUS

A 19th Century Bronze of Venus. The bronze of the Medici Venus, the goddess with her hair gathered, as she emerges naked from the waves. By her is a dolphin ridden by two cherubs of love. The figure on conforming circular bronze plinth. Date circa 1830. Height 12 3/4 inches, 32cm. Width 4 inches, 10cm. Depth 3 1/2 inches, 9cm.
