A 19th Century Bronze Warwick Vase. The Grand Tour vase with a beaded top rim, surrounded by the outward curved egg and dart edge, above a band of hanging vine leaves. The body decorated with raised masks of the Gods, amongst draped lion skins. The bowl held within a leaf cup, above the gadrooned socle, and circular spreading foot decorated with flutes. The whole raised on a small circular plinth. The vase mounted with pairs of entwined vine stalks, forming a pair of handles. Height 6 1/2 inches, 17cm. Width 9 1/2 inches, 24cm. Depth 7 inches, 18cm. Date circa 1850.
