A 19th Century Cast Iron Door Stop, Door Porter. The door porter in the form of a mythological griffin. The beast recumbent and looking forward, his head raised and talons in front of his recumbent body. He rests on a stepped rectangular plinth. Date c 1850. Height 8 inches, 20cm. Width 5 inches, 13cm.
