A 19th Century Cast Iron Medici Lion. The lion standing, looking forward, his right paw holding a sphere, his arched back running to his hind quarters, his long tail wrapping around his leg. The whole on a conforming rectangular plinth. The whole with a very attractive patination. Date circa 1850. Height 7 inches, 17cm. Width 9 inches, 23cm. Depth 3 inches, 8cm.
