A 19th Century Door Stop or Door Porter. With a scrolled foliage loop handle, above the shank formed as rising and spreading leaves. The shank finished with a rounded socle, above the lions paw base. The rear lead loaded. Date c 1840. Height 15 1/2 inches, width 4 1/2 inches, depth 3 inches.Ref: 21486
