EARLY 19TH C BRASS DOOR STOP

An Early 19th Century Brass Door Porter, Door Stop. The bowed open loop handle above a tall shank, gently tapering outward and downward to a ring socle. The socle spreading onto the bell shaped base, decorated with horizontal ringing. The rear lead loaded. Date c 1810. Height 17 1/2 inches, width 5 1/4 inches, depth 2 3/4 inches.
