An Early 19th Century Bronze Figure of Henry IV. He is mounted on a charger, wearing medalled and swagged armour. He looks slightly to his left, holding reins in his left hand, and a staff in his right hand, as his charger strides forward. The whole on a good Sienna marble plinth, stepped with a bronze cap mould and leaf decorated ogee banding. The original figure stands on the Pont Neuf, Paris. Date circa 1830. Height 15 inches, 38cm. Width 9 inches, 23cm. Depth 5 inches, 13cm.
