A 19th Century Bronze Figure of Narcissus. The youth depicted as he admires his reflection in a pool. He stands, his curling hair gathered with vine leaves, whilst a goat skin hangs over his shoulder. His legs slightly astride, his sandled feet on a circular plinth base, the rims with stiff leaf decoration. The plinth impressed for 'MASULLI, NAPOLI'. Date circa 1870. Height 25 1/2 inches, 65cm.
