A Pair of 19th Century Brass Lions. The counter facing pair of lions, each resting with front paws ahead and crossed, the rear legs gathered under the hind quarters and the long tails sweeping over the bodies. The proud beasts with heads raised, their rather appealing expressions emerging from extravagant manes. Date circa 1830. Height 4 inches, 10cm. Width 8 inches, 20cm.
