A Pair of 19th Century Bronzes, depicting Cupid and Psyche as Cherubs, the two cherubs playing Bilboquet. Cupid, semi draped, holding the cup, and with a quiver of arrows, looking toward Psyche. Psyche, likewise semi draped, and looking toward Cupid, as she holds the ball. The figures of small circular bases signed for 'DELAVIGNE'. The cherubs mounted on square stepped marble plinths. Date c 1870. Height 24 1/2 inches, width 7 inches, depth 8 inches.Ref: 21466
