A Pair of 19th Century Whippets, by the Falkirk Foundry. The two whippets, one standing, with his left front paw raised, as he looks down at the younger whippet, who crouches, and looks up at him, as they play with a ball at their feet. The whippets stand on an oval plinth with a concave and stepped edge. The plinth impressed 'FALKIRK'. The whole a lustrous bronze patination. Height 6 1/2 inches, 16cm. Width 8 1/2 inches, 22cm. Depth 5 inches, 13cm. Date circa 1870.Ref: 22434
