A Pair of Regency Lions. The pair of bronze lions, each recumbent, their tails curling under their haunches, the beasts with exuberant manes, as they look ahead, with their front paws resting below. The lions on antico verde rectangular marble plinths, finished with concave upper edges. Date c 1820. Height 4 1/2 inches, 12 cm. Width 7 inches, 18cm. Depth 2 3/4 inches, 7 cm.
